Sammy is an endearing little turtle that grabs you heart right off the bat. He is on a mission to find his mother. As he meets different characters along his path, he learns something valuable from each of them. The moment when he is reunited with his mother actually brought a tear to my eye. It definitely has a spiritual tone that leaves you feeling quite enlightened. The illustrations are adorable and remind me of the many drawings I have hanging on my own refrigerator.
